THE CLAP BACK -YEAR ONE

The Clap Back (founded by néné myriam konatè in 2015) is a space to informally discuss everything from pop culture phenomena to divisive political issues as we sip tea and stuff our faces with pastries... and I can't believe it's already been around for a year!

The Clap Back's first anniversary was celebrated in an atmosphere of love + respect + fabulosity inspired by the one and only So(u)lange(l)'s A Seat at the Table.

We unpacked the album + its visuals as we looked back on a full year of the Clap Back, what this space/time has come to represent and the shapes it may take in the future.

Sounds were curated by the wonderful Colin MusoNi. The discussion was moderated by the infamous Néné Konaté in addition to the brilliant Kosisochukwu Nnebe and the lovely Keesha Chung as co-hosts.

Listen to some of the conversation below.
